Alkali Metal Dispensers (AMD)

AMDs offer an efficient and safe method of depositing ultrapure alkali metals such as Cesium, Potassium, Sodium, Rubidium and Lithium. AMDs keep the alkali metal pure in the form of a stable salt combine with a getter material.

Available in different lengths (linear and curve), they are able to release few milligrams of alkali metals in photocathodes, image intensifiers and night vision tubes.

Designed to be directly inserted in many types of crucibles, they are air stable, controllable and reliable sources of alkali and alkali-earth metals.
